Most of the phone manufacturers are offering dual-rear cameras in a mid-budget price range. Samsung has joined the bandwagon by launching the Galaxy J7 Duo in India today. The phone is priced at Rs. 16,990 and rocks a dual-camera setup at the back. Let’s take a look at the features and specifications of this new phone.
The J7 Duo fits a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Just like most Samsung phones, it has a Super AMOLED display which promises deeper blacks and vibrant colours. The phone bears a design language similar to other devices by the brand and is available in two colours: Black and Gold.
Talking of the phone’s major highlight, the J7 Duo gets two sensors at the back, a combination of 13-megapixel and 5 megapixel lenses. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel camera on the front. All of the three sensors in the phone come with an f/1.9 aperture, which is quite decent for clicking low-light pictures. There’s a front flash as well, to further aid in low-light selfies.
In terms of performance, it has a 1.6 GHz processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. You get 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card slot up to 256GB. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo which is skinned with the brand’s own Samsung Experience UI. You can also use Face Unlock to authenticate in this phone.
The J7 Duo is powered by a 3000mAh battery unit that can get you through a day’s usage with ease. It doesn’t come with fast charging support though. Connectivity options in the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, and GLONASS.
