Samsung Galaxy M01 and M11 to go on sale on June 2nd in India, price to start from Rs 8,999

The Samsung Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01 have been doing the rounds of the rumour mill for a while now. Recently, a report revealed the Galaxy M01’s specifications and design and before that it was spotted on the Google Play Console. The Galaxy M11 was already announced in the UAE in March this year, but Samsung didn’t reveal pricing and availability.

More recently, both smartphones were spotted on the company’s support page in India. The popular tipster, Ishan Agarwal has also revealed the offline prices of the Galaxy M01 and M11. Now, the smartphones have been teased on Flipkart revealing the launch date. Apart from that, 91mobiles have managed to obtain the retail boxes of these phones revealing the pricing as well. Here’s what we know.

According to teaser images on Flipkart, the Samsung Galaxy M01 and M11 will both go on sale in India starting June 2nd. The 91mobiles report suggests that the handsets will also go on sale through offline channels on the same date. The publication also obtained retail box images and prices of the phones.

The leak suggests that the Galaxy M01 will be offered in a 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, which will be priced at Rs  8,999. There’s no confirmation on whether Samsung will launch more configurations of the handset. As for the Samsung Galaxy M11, the phone is tipped to retail at Rs 10,999 for 3GB + 32GB variant and Rs 12,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant.

Notably, these pricings are in line with the prices revealed by the tipster Ishan Agarwal.

Samsung Galaxy M01 and Galaxy M11 specifications and features

The Samsung Galaxy M11 comes with a 6.4-inch HD+ TFT LCD panel with a punch-hole cutout. Driving the performance is a Snapdragon 450 SoC with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage. The phone gets  13MP + 5MP + 2MP setup on the back and an 8MP camera on the front. Lastly, a massive 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support completes the spec sheet.

The Galaxy M01 is tipped to feature a 5.71-inch HD+ TFT waterdrop display and a Snapdragon 439 SoC. The camera setup on the back will house a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth unit. The phone is expected to be powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
