Samsung had launched the Galaxy M01 in India last month. Now the brand has announced a new variant of the device dubbed as the Galaxy M01s. The latest offering comes with an upgraded display and processor compared to the M01. Notably, it also retains some specs from the previous model.

The Galaxy M01s is an upgraded variant of the Galaxy M01
On the display front, the Galaxy M01s features a larger screen measuring 6.2-inches with HD+ resolution. The device comes with a waterdrop notch on the top. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face recognition for security. The Galaxy M01s can be availed in Light Blue and Gray colour variants. On the audio front, the smartphone is equipped with Dolby Atmos surround sound.
On the back, the Galaxy M01s sports 13MP primary camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, the smartphone is fitted with an 8MP selfie snapper compared to 5MP on the Galaxy M01.
The Galaxy M01s is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor. It packs 3GB RAM and offers 32GB onboard storage expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on a 4,000mAh battery unit and ships with Android 10 out of the box.
