Samsung launched the Galaxy M02s smartphone in Nepal a few days ago. Now the South Korean brand has brought the device to the Indian market with the same specifications. The latest offering is the successor to last year’s Galaxy M01s.
The Galaxy M02s packs upgraded specifications compared to its predecessor. It is the first Samsung smartphone with 4GB RAM that falls under the sub-Rs 10k price tag. The device will compete against the likes of Realme C12, Redmi 9 Prime, and more.
Samsung Galaxy M02s specifications and features
The Samsung Galaxy M02s features an Infinity-V display measuring 6.5-inches and bearing an HD+ resolution. Design-wise, the smartphone comes with a rectangular camera module and a prism-cut pattern on the back panel. The triple camera setup consists of a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP portrait lens and 2MP macro camera. The device has a 5MP front-facing selfie snapper. The Samsung Galaxy M02s lacks a fingerprint scanner.
The Samsung Galaxy M02s is powered by a Snapdragon 450 processor. The SoC is paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB native storage expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging. Software-wise, the Galaxy M02s runs One UI based on Android 10.
Samsung Galaxy M02s price in India
The Samsung Galaxy M02s starts at Rs 8,999 for the base variant. The price of 4GB + 64GB model is not revealed. The smartphone is offered in Black, Blue and Red colour options and will be available for purchase on Amazon soon.
