Samsung Galaxy M04 India launch seems imminent. In August, the device was approved by India’s BIS authority. Later, it appeared in the database of the Bluetooth SIG certification platform. The support page for the Galaxy M04 went live on Samsung India’s website. Now, the device has surfaced on Google Play Console with some of its key specifications and an image.
Since Samsung did not launch a device named Galaxy M03, the upcoming Galaxy M04 will succeed the Galaxy M02, which debuted in February 2021. Here is a look at all the details that have surfaced through the Google Play Console listing of the Galaxy M04.

The Galaxy M04 image that has surfaced on Google Play Console reveals that it has a teardrop notch display. The listing reveals that the screen supports an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It further reveals that the device has a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and Android 12 OS.
Previous reports have revealed that the Galaxy M04’s model number is SM-M045F. it is speculated that it could be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A04e, which went official in the global market in October.
The Galaxy A04e features a 6.5-inch PLS LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It has a 5-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (depth) dual-camera setup with LED flash. The device is powered by the One UI Core 4.1-based Android 12 OS, which includes Knox security.
The Helio G35-powered device offers up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging. The device offers other features like dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It supports face unlock but lacks a fingerprint scanner.
