South Korean brand Samsung has discontinued three smartphones in its 2019 M-series. The Galaxy M10 and M20 were launched in February, while the M10s was announced in September last year. The smartphones are no longer listed on Samsung’s official website in India, as was first spotted by MySmartPrice. Notably, the devices didn’t receive a recent price hike due to the new GST rates, further confirming the discontinuation of the phones. The Galaxy M10, M10s and M20 are also unavailable for purchase on Amazon.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy M21 as the successor to the M20 last month. The Galaxy M11 also went official on the brand’s UAE website. Samsung is yet to announce the price of M11, while the M21 starts at Rs 14,222 (revised price) for the base variant. With the 2020 Galaxy M11 and M21 launching soon, it makes sense for the brand to discontinue their predecessors i.e. Galaxy M10 and M20. Samsung also released the Galaxy M31 in February starting at Rs 16,856.
The Galaxy M10 and M10s run Android 9, while the M20 is loaded with Android 10. With the discontinuation of the three smartphones, Samsung’s Galaxy M-series product page now shows only four devices including the Galaxy M30, Galaxy M30s, Galaxy M21 and Galaxy M31.
