Samsung has expanded its range of Galaxy M series smartphones in India by launching the Galaxy M10s and Galaxy M30s. Both have arrived as the successors to the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M30, and bring a few upgrades. While the Galaxy M10s is an entry-level offering, the Galaxy M30s is a triple primary camera-toting mid-range smartphone. Apart from these two phones, Samsung has also introduced a new variant of the Galaxy M30 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
Samsung Galaxy M10s specifications and features
Talking about the Samsung Galaxy M10s first, the phone features a 6.4-inch HD+ display. The phone utilises a Super AMOLED screen panel with the Infinity V-shaped notch above to house the selfie camera. Under the hood, the handset has an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7884B processor, which is accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. At the rear, there’s a dual 13MP + 5MP camera setup, while on the front you have an 8MP lens for selfies. Unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy M10s is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. A 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support keeps the whole package running.
Samsung Galaxy M30s specifications and features
As for the Samsung Galaxy M30s, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.4-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with an Infinity U-shaped notch above. Notably, the handset has the Widewine L1 certification, which will let you play HD content from services like Netflix and Prime Video. This one is powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core Exynos 9611 processor. The phone comes in two RAM and storage configurations – 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. Just like the Galaxy M10s, the Galaxy M30s also boots Android 9 Pie out of the box with Samsung’s new One UI on top, and gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
In the optics department, the Samsung Galaxy M30s sports three cameras at the rear, which are placed vertically at the top-left corner. There’s a 48MP main shooter, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens with 123-degree field of view, and a 5MP depth sensor with the Live Focus feature. The phone is capable of recording 4K and Super Slo-Mo videos, and offers features like Super Steady and Hyperlapse. For selfies, there’s a 16MP snapper with on-screen flash. Lastly, a massive 6,000mAh battery with 15W charging support keeps the whole show running.
Samsung Galaxy M10s and Galaxy M30s price in India
The Samsung Galaxy M10s has been priced at Rs 8,999, and will be available in two colour options – Stone Blue and Piano Black. As for the Galaxy M30s, its 4GB / 64GB model costs Rs 13,999, while the 6GB / 128GB model will set you back by Rs 16,999. This one is being offered in dual-tone colours including Opal Black, Sapphire Blue, and Pearl White. Both the new handsets will go on sale on Amazon and the brand’s e-store from September 29th. The new Galaxy M30 variant will go on sale soon, but there’s no word on the pricing at the moment.
