  • Both devices are expected to launch soon in India
  • Both phones will offer 5G capabilities at low prices

Samsung Galaxy M14 5G and Galaxy F14 5G are likely to launch in India. The reason behind it is that both phones have received approval from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in the country. As can be seen in the screengrab below, the Galaxy M14 5G and Galaxy F14 5G has appeared with their respective model numbers, such as SM-M146B/DS and SM-F146/DS.

Nothing much has been heard about the Galaxy F14. To recall, the Galaxy F13 was a 4G LTE device, but its successor is expected to support 5G connectivity. There is a possibility that the F14 may offer the same specs as the M14. It is likely that the M14 will be sold via Amazon, whereas the F14 could be made available through Flipkart.

The Galaxy M14 5G was recently spotted at the Geekbench benchmarking site with some of its key specifications. According to the listing, it will be powered by the upcoming Exynos 1330 chipset (model number s5E8535), 4GB of RAM, and Android 13 OS. The device scored 751 and 2051 points in the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench 5.

Speculations are rife that the Galaxy M14 / F14 will be based on the Galaxy A14 5G, which is also expected to debut soon. The Galaxy A14 5G is expected to have two CPU variants, such as the Exynos 1330 and Dimensity 700. It is also expected to debut soon since its support page recently went live on Samsung India’s website.

The Galaxy A14 5G is expected to arrive with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display, a 13-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel triple camera unit. The device could be powered by Android 12 with the One UI 5.0 on top. It may pack a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging.
