Samsung Galaxy M21 spotted on Geekbench, to feature Exynos 9611 and Android 10

Samsung launched its Galaxy M20 budget-friendly smartphone in January last year. The company expected to launch Galaxy M21 as its successor and now, the device has been spotted on Geekbench. The device’s predecessor was launched with the Samsung Exynos 7904 octa-core processor. Since it was launched in January 2019, the upcoming Galaxy M21 is speculated to be announced soon. Rumours are rife about the handset’s imminent announcement in the Indian market. The Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra have also been leaked along with the line-up’s European pricing. The S20 series is supposed to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Flip foldable phone on February 11th.

The Galaxy M21 scored 348 points on single-core tests in Geekbench. In the multi-core test, the handset scored 1,265 points. The Galaxy M21 will sport an Exynos 9611 octa-core processor that is clocked at 1.74GHz. The phone is expected to feature 4GB of RAM as well. Interestingly, the same chipset powers the Samsung Galaxy M30s and is speculated to feature on the upcoming Galaxy M31.

Furthermore, the Galaxy M21 is likely to sport a dual-camera setup on the back. The configuration could consist of a 24MP snapper along with a 5MP sensor, which is an improvement over the 13MP + 5MP setup on the handset’s predecessor. The phone is also likely to house 64GB and 128GB storage variants. It has been spotted to feature Android 10 out of the box. It could launch in three shades, namely black, green and black.

This is all the information that has been leaked about the upcoming device as of now. It is advisable to take these specifications with a pinch of salt, since nothing has been confirmed by the South Korean giant yet.
