Samsung had launched the Galaxy M20 last January. The South Korean brand is reportedly working on its successor called Galaxy M21. According to a report by IANS, the upcoming smartphone is tipped to launch on March 16th. However, Samsung hasn’t confirmed the launch date of the Galaxy M21 yet. Additionally, the smartphone was spotted on Geekbench and also certified by the Bluetooth SIG. Recent reports suggest that the Galaxy M21 will arrive with the same specifications as the Galaxy M30s.
The Geekbench listing of the Galaxy M21 suggests that the device will be powered by an Exynos 9611 processor clocked at 1.74GHz. It will pack 4GB RAM and run Android 10. If reports about the Galaxy M21 being identical to the Galaxy M30s are true, the upcoming smartphone will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display and a massive 6,000mAh battery. The device could pack up to 6GB RAM and offer up to 128GB onboard storage. The 48MP triple camera unit and a 24MP selfie snapper are expected to be the highlight of the Galaxy M21. This is a significant upgrade from the Galaxy M20 which offers 13MP+5MP rear cameras and an 8MP selfie shooter. The Galaxy M21 will be reportedly offered in Blue, Black and Green colour options.
Samsung launched the Galaxy M31 last month priced at Rs 14,999 and Rs 15,999 for the 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants, respectively. It packs the same specifications as the M30s but comes with an upgraded camera with 64MP quad sensors. We expect the upcoming Galaxy M21 to be launched soon and priced lesser than the M31.
