Samsung is now reportedly working on the successor to the Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M20s phones from 2019. The upcoming Galaxy M21 that has a model number of SM-M21F was recently spotted on Geekbench and Bluetooth SIG. These listings revealed that its launch could be drawing near. Citing information acquired from popular leakster Ishan Agarwal, 91mobiles claims that the Galaxy M21 will be coming with the same specifications as the Galaxy M30s.
In September 2019, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy M30s smartphone as the updated version of the original Galaxy M30 that was announced at the beginning of the year. The key specs of the Galaxy M30s include a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with waterdrop notch, Exynos 9611 SoC, 48-megapixel triple rear cameras and a huge battery of 6,000mAh capacity. If what the tipster has claimed turns out to be true, the Galaxy M21 will be equipped with all the aforementioned specs. However, it is advisable to wait for further reports to know more on the specs of the Galaxy M21.
The tipster has also revealed that the South Korean company is working on the Galaxy M01 and Galaxy M01s smartphones. These phones are now said to be in the developmental phase and may take around two to three months to go official. Nothing is known on the specs of these phones. Their monikers suggest that these devices could be packed with entry-level specifications.
In related news, the South Korean company recently launched the Galaxy M31 smartphone as the successor of the Galaxy M30 series from last year. Priced at Rs. 14,999, the Galaxy M31 comes with a 6.4-inch Infinity-U notch AMOLED display that produces full HD+ resolution. The Exynos 9611 powered phone comes with 6GB of RAM and storage choices of 64GB and 128GB. It has a front camera of 32-megapixels and its rear is fitted with a quad camera setup that features a 64-megapixel main shooter, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The massive 6,000mAh battery of the phone is coupled with 18W fast charging technology.
