Samsung Galaxy M31 with 64MP quad cameras launching in India on February 25th

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy M series offering, the Galaxy M31, has been the subject of a number of headlines lately. The phone will arrive as the successor to the Samsung Galaxy M30s, which was announced in September last year. Ahead of the launch of the Galaxy M31, various popular Indian YouTubers like Geeky Ranjit and Technical Guruji recently teased a couple of features of the device. Also, several key specs of the device were leaked last week. Now, Amazon India has also confirmed some details about the Galaxy M31, apart from revealing when it will be launched in the country.

Samsung Galaxy M31’s India launch has been set for February 25th

As per the teaser page on the e-commerce portal, the Samsung Galaxy M31 will be launched in India at 12 pm on February 25th. Just like the recently launched Galaxy phones, the new Galaxy M series offering is also expected to be released through a soft launch event. Unfortunately, the e-tailer hasn’t revealed anything about the pricing details of the Galaxy M31. If the reports are to be believed, the device will be priced around Rs 15,000 in the country.

Samsung Galaxy M31 specifications and features

The Galaxy M31’s teaser page on Amazon India has revealed that the phone will flaunt a 64MP quad-camera setup on the back, which is in line with the earlier teasers. The four cameras will be placed in a square module on the top-left corner of the back, just like its predecessor. In the middle towards the top on the back, there will be a fingerprint sensor.

Galaxy M31 will be a quad rear camera-toting budget offering with a beefy battery

The device will be equipped with a full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a notch in the middle of the top to house the selfie camera. Lastly, Amazon has confirmed that the Galaxy M31 will flaunt a massive 6,000 mAh battery, just like the Galaxy M30s.

As for the other specs, earlier rumours have suggested that the Galaxy M31 will have a 6.4-inch screen and will be powered by the Exynos 9611 10nm chipset. The SoC will be paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The device is expected to come with a 5MP macro lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP depth sensor, apart from the 64MP main shooter.
