Samsung is all geared up to launch the Galaxy M31 smartphone in the Indian subcontinent. The device will be launched on February 25th. The South Korean giant took to Twitter to announce the offline presence of Galaxy M31 after launch. The handset will be available on Amazon, Samsung’s official store online and across the retail stores of the brand. Last year, the budget-friendly M-series was launched online only. However, reports about the company’s inclination towards making its offerings available offline started surfacing in November. The Galaxy M31 is touted to be a “Mega Monster” by the brand which highlights its beefy battery unit.

The Galaxy M31 is expected to host a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED Infinity-U display. The phone has been leaked to show Samsung Exynos 9611 octa-core processor at the helm with 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, and 8GB RAM +128GB storage variants. In terms of software, the handset could boot Android 1o with OneUI 2.0 on top. In addition to this, leaks have suggested a 64MP primary lens on the back with an aperture of f/1.8. It would be supported by an 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP lens with f/2.4 aperture. The configuration would be arranged in an L-shaped design and an LED Flash would also be included.
For selfies and video calling, the device has been revealed to have a 32MP snapper with f/2.0 aperture. The biggest USP of the device is likely to be its 6,000mAh battery unit with support for USB Type-C. A fast charger is also speculated to ship inside the box. The price of the phone is expected to be under Rs 15,000 as it is a budget-friendly offering. We would know all of its specifications for certain on February 25th.
