Samsung had launched the Galaxy M31, followed by the Galaxy M31s earlier this year. A new Amazon listing last week revealed that the brand is set to add yet another handset in the line-up called the Galaxy M31 Prime Edition. The listing has now confirmed the price of the Galaxy M31 Prime Edition in India.
The Galaxy M31 Prime Edition Amazon listing states that the smartphone will have a starting price of Rs 16,499. The brand is offering 3-month free subscription of the Amazon Prime membership and one-swipe access to the Amazon app with the smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime Edition specifications
The Amazon listing had previously revealed the specifications of the upcoming smartphone. According to the website, the Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime Edition is powered by the Exynos 9611 chipset and will be available in two variants. The base model will have 6GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage and the higher variant will be equipped with 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage.
The Galaxy M31 Prime Edition has a 32-megapixel front camera and the rear camera setup includes a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel superwide lens, a 5-megapixel macro shooter, and a 5-megapixel depth assist lens. Moving on, the Galaxy M31 Prime Edition is backed by a 6,000mAh battery, which supports 15W charging.
The phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and also supports face unlock. The Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime Edition seems to be sharing its specifications with the Galaxy M31, except for the display. The listing doesn’t mention the screen size and resolution of the upcoming smartphone.

As mentioned before, the base model of the Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime Edition is confirmed to be Rs 16,499. There’s no word on the pricing of the 128GB model as of now. The upcoming smartphone is expected to go on sale during the Amazon India’s Great Indian Festival sale that begins on October 17th.
