Last February, Samsung announced the Galaxy M30. Its upgraded version called the Galaxy M30s arrived in the second half of the year. The rumour mill has been speculating that the South Korean tech giant may launch the Galaxy M31s as an enhanced version of the Galaxy M31 smartphone that went official earlier this year. IANS had reported last week that the Galaxy M31s will go official by the end of this month. Samsung has now confirmed that the Galaxy M31s will launch in India on July 30th at 12pm.
The microsite for the Galaxy M31s is now live on Amazon India. The listing has revealed the design of the phone. It has also confirmed some of its key features.
Samsung Galaxy M31s specifications and features
The Samsung Galaxy M31s will sport an S-AMOLED display with a punch-hole camera at top-centre. The rear panel features a gradient finish with a 64-megapixel primary sensor in a rectangular camera module. The M31s will offer users a Single Take camera mode for capturing multiple shots and videos by pressing the shutter button once.
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy M31s is packed with a 6,000mAh battery. It will support 25W fast charging, which is an upgrade compared to 15W charging support available on the Galaxy M31. The fingerprint sensor not visible on the rear, with reports claiming that it could be the first M-series phone from the brand with an in-screen fingerprint reader.
Rumours surrounding the Galaxy M31s have revealed that it will be fueled by the same Exynos 9611 SoC that powers the M31. The phone may come with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Other details about the phone are not available yet.
Samsung Galaxy M31s pricing and availability
Samsung is selling the Galaxy M31 in India for Rs 17,499. IANS had reported that the Galaxy M31s will be priced around Rs 20,000.
