Samsung Galaxy M33 5G with SM-M336B/DS model number has bagged FCC certification today. The FCC documents have revealed key information on the connectivity features, battery, and charging capabilities of the handset. Now that the M33 5G has received FCC certification, it may not take too long for it to go official.

Before appearing on FCC, the handset had been previously seen at other certification sites such as South Korea’s SafetyKorea, India’s BIS, Thailand’s NBTC, and Bluetooth SIG. These certifications indicate that the M33 5G could be heading to multiple markets in the coming days.

Samsung Galaxy M33 5G FCC certification

The Galaxy M33 5G’s FCC listing reveals that it carries support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, and NFC among other connectivity features. As far as 5G connectivity is concerned, the M33 carries support for 12 5G bands such as n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n40, n41, n66, and n78. The handset is equipped with a microSD card slot for additional storage.

The FCC document mentions Galaxy M33 5G’s battery has an EB-BM526ABS model number. The previously seen SafetyKorea certification revealed that the device could be equipped with a 6,000mAh battery. The listing also suggests that the device may ship with an EP-TA800 charging brick, which supports 25W fast charging. The battery and charger details of the M33 5G mentioned in its FCC listing indicates that Samsung has used the Galaxy M52’s battery and charging for testing the M33 5G.

In December, the Galaxy M33 5G with SM-M336BU model number was spotted at Geekbench 5. The listing confirmed that the M33 5G is equipped with Exynos 1200 chip, 6GB RAM, Android 12 OS, a score of 726 on single-core test and a score of 1830 on multi-core test. Now, another variant of the device with SM-M336B has appeared with the same specs on the benchmarking site. It has scored 721 in the single-core test and 1719 in the multi-core test of Geekbench 5, respectively.

Samsung Galaxy M33 5G specifications (rumoured)

The Galaxy M33 rumours have revealed that it may house a 6.5-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, a 13-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 64-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 5-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) quad-camera unit. The Exynos 1200 powered device may ship with 6GB / 8GB of RAM. It will run on Android 12 OS with One UI 4.0 on top. As mentioned above, it may ship with a 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

Samsung Galaxy M33 5G launch date (rumoured)

The Galaxy M33 5G launch date is yet to be confirmed. Its arrival seems imminent since the handset’s support page is now live on Samsung Germany’s website. A new report by MySmartPrice claims that the M33 5G will debut in India in March. It will be arriving as the successor to last year’s Galaxy M32 5G. Reports have claimed that the South Korean company may also announce a 4G version of the Galaxy M33 in the coming days.
