Samsung has stepped up its game with the budget-friendly M-series of smartphones. The company is gearing up to launch the Galaxy M40 in India next June 11th. There have been a few official announcements about the phone’s key features, and some leaks which have revealed a few specifications as well. Now, the complete spec sheet of the Samsung Galaxy M40 has been leaked.
Samsung Galaxy M40: leaked specifications
The phone will feature a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. The Galaxy M40 is also likely to feature a punch hole to house the selfie camera, just like its other siblings. The pixel density of the display is mentioned to be 409 ppi. The phone has been outed to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor with 6GB of LPDRR4C RAM and 128GB of storage. The latter would be expandable via a microSD card as well. The rear panel of the phone will also house a fingerprint reader.
Battery-wise, the phone is likely to sport a 3,500mAh unit with USB Type-C. The Galaxy M40 will also run Android 9.0 Pie. In the camera department, the phone will have a 16MP selfie sensor. On the back, a triple camera setup comprising of a 32MP primary shooter, a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture and 8MP wide-angle lens.
