The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G sports an Infinity-U sAMOLED display measuring 6.6-inches and bearing an HD+ resolution. It is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. In terms of design, the smartphone features horizontal stripes on the back panel and houses a square-shaped camera module.
On the imaging front, the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is equipped with a quad-camera module. The setup consists of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP depth unit and a 5MP macro shooter. The smartphone features a 20MP front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G houses a Snapdragon 750G processor. It packs up to 8GB RAM and offers up to 128GB native storage expandable up to 1TB via microSD card slot. The smartphone draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 15W fast charging.
The Galaxy M42 5G runs on OneUI 3.1 based on the latest Android 11. It is the first M-series phone to come with Samsung Pay for safe and free transactions. The smartphone also features Knox Security for protecting user sensitive information.
