Samsung launched its Galaxy M51 smartphone in Germany last week. Now the South Korean brand has brought the device to the Indian market. The Indian variant retains the same specifications as its German counterpart.
The Galaxy M51 is the fifth device in Samsung’s M-series to be launched this year. The latest offering packs powerful specifications and falls in the mid-range price segment. It is backed by a mammoth 7,000mAh battery and features 64MP quad-cameras. The smartphone will compete against the OnePlus Nord, Realme X3 and others in India.
Samsung Galaxy M51 specifications and features
On the display front, the Galaxy M51 sports a 6.7-inch sAMOLED screen with an Infinity-O design. The device offers FHD+ resolution and features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy M51 comes with Widevine L1 certification that allows users to stream HD content on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. On the back, the smartphone sports a rectangular camera setup. It is offered in Celestial Black and Electric Blue colour options.
In the imaging department, the Galaxy M51’s quad-camera setup consists of a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP depth sensor and a 5MP macro unit. In the front, the device features a 32MP selfie snapper. The smartphone comes with camera features and modes like Live Focus, macro mode, night hyperlapse and panorama.
Under the hood, the Galaxy M51 is equipped with a Snapdragon 730G processor. It is paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage expandable via microSD card slot. The smartphone runs on OneUI based on Android 10. The Galaxy M51 draws its power from a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
Connectivity options on the Galaxy M51 include USB-C, reverse charging, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Samsung Galaxy M51 price in India
Samsung has priced the base variant of the Galaxy M51 i.e. 6GB + 128GB at Rs 24,999. The 8GB + 128GB configuration retails at Rs 26,999. It will be available for purchase on Amazon from September 18th at 12pm. HDFC bank cardholders can avail a flat Rs 2,000 off as a part of an introductory offer on Amazon from September 18th to 20th.
