Samsung India has been teasing the arrival of the Galaxy M51 since last week. There is a dedicated landing page for the device on Amazon India’s site. However, the launch date of the phone has not been announced yet for the Indian markets. Ahead of the India launch, the handset has quietly been listed on Samsung Germany’s website, which is now taking pre-orders for the device. The handset is the successor for the Galaxy M40 phone from last year.
Samsung Galaxy M51 specifications and features
The Galaxy M51 has a 6.7-inch S-AMOLED display with an Infinity-O punch-hole design. It supports full HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is driven by a 7,000mAh battery, which carries support for 25W fast charging.
The Galaxy M51 has a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The rear-mounted quad camera system of the Galaxy M51 has a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 123-degree field-of-view, a 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The handset offers photography features like Live Focus, macro mode, and panorama.
The handset is powered by an unspecified octa-core processor. Reports surrounding the Galaxy M51 have claimed that it could be equipped with the Snapdragon 730G mobile platform. The SoC is coupled with 6GB of RAM. The device offers users 128GB of storage and a microSD card slot for furter expansion. The phone runs One UI based on Android 10. Lastly, it features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The pre-order listing of the Samsung Galaxy M51 mentions that the device is priced at €360 (~Rs 31,500) for the 128GB storage edition. The handset is listed in two color variants, black and white. Samsung may announce the Galaxy M51 in India in early September.
