Most specs confirmed by Agarwal have already been leaked in the past; however, we now have details about the variants of the Samsung Galaxy M51. Agarwal confirms that the handset will be offered in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants with 128GB storage, of which the 8GB variant was already rumoured. There’s no word on the processor from the tipster, but past leaks — including a Geekbench listing — have suggested that it’s likely to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC.

Coming to the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy M51 was tipped to feature a 64-megapixel quad-camera module. Agarwal has confirmed that the primary camera is indeed a 64-megapixel sensor, which is backed by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 5-megapixel portrait camera, and 5-megapixel macro sensor. The tipster has also revealed that the handset will sport a powerful 32-megapixel selfie camera.

While previous leaks have claimed that the smartphone will have a 6.5-inch or 6.67-inch display, Agarwal has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy M51 will ship with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. Previously leaked CAD renders by tipster OnLeaks had revealed that the phone will sport an Infinity-O display with a punch-hole cutout in the top left corner. The display is expected to retain FHD+ screen resolution from the Galaxy M40. The renders had also revealed a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

According to Agarwal, the Samsung Galaxy M51 will boot One UI 2.1, which is based on Android 10. The main highlight of the handset is the massive 7,000mAh battery, which is a first for any smartphone. The handset was also recently spotted on the website of the FCC, revealing support for 25W fast charging.

As of now, there’s no word on the launch timeline of the upcoming handset. However, the support page for the smartphone was spotted on Samsung’s official Russia website, hinting at an imminent launch.
