Samsung has quietly launched the Galaxy M62. It is listed on the company’s official Thailand website. The smartphone is a rebranded Galaxy F62 that debuted in India last week. The Galaxy M62 shares the same specifications and design as the Galaxy F62.
The key features of the Samsung Galaxy F62 include a massive 7,000mAh battery, 25W fast charging, and 64MP quad-cameras. Unlike the Galaxy F62, the Galaxy M62 is offered in only one RAM and storage configuration as per its official listing.
Samsung Galaxy M62 specifications and features
The Samsung Galaxy M62 offers a 6.7-inch AMOLED display bearing FHD+ resolution and a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout for the front camera. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner while the gradient back panel is home to a square-shaped camera module.
On the imaging front, the Samsung Galaxy M62 sports a quad-camera setup comprising a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP depth and macro lens each. The smartphone comes with a 32MP front-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy M62 houses an Exynos 9825 processor under the hood. It is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage expandable up to 512GB via microSD card slot. The smartphone draws its power from a 7,000mAh battery unit with support for 25W charging.
Connectivity options on the Galaxy M62 include a USB-C port, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and a 3.5mm jack.
Samsung Galaxy M62 pricing and availability
Samsung hasn’t revealed the official price of the Galaxy M62 yet. It is offered in Black, Blue, and Green colours and will be available for purchase from March 3rd in Thailand and Malaysia.
In India, the Galaxy F62 carries a price tag of Rs 23,999 and Rs 25,999 for the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants respectively.
