Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite pre-orders to begin on January 21st in India, ahead of mid-February sale

The landing pages for the Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite recently went live on Samsung India’s official website. The South Korean company has now confirmed that it will be debuting the Galaxy S10 Lite smartphone in the country on January 23rd. Samsung is yet to confirm the launch date of Galaxy Note 10 Lite for India. Some reports have claimed that the Note 10 Lite will also go official on January 23rd.  However, citing information acquired from industry sources, 91mobiles has reported that the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will be up for pre-bookings in India from January 21st.

The report further reveals that the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will made available for purchase by mid-February. The company may have planned to release the Galaxy Note 10 Lite in India after the Galaxy S20 series global launch event that is scheduled to take place on February 11th.  Samsung is expected to confirm the exact launch date for Note 10 Lite in the next few days.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite has a large 6.7-inch S-AMOLED display with Infinity-O punch-hole. The display features a 20:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. The display of the phone is integrated with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The Note series device comes with a Bluetooth enabled S Pen.

The Exynos 9810 chipset that fuelled Galaxy S9 series and Galaxy Note 9 smartphones back in 2018 powers the Note 10 Lite. Apart from the 128GB native storage available on both the 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, the phone also offers users a dedicated microSD card slot.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite has a 4,500mAh battery that is coupled with an unspecified fast charging technology. One UI 2.0 based on Android 10 comes preloaded on the smartphone. It has a front-facing camera of 32-megapixels. The rear shell of the device has a square-shaped camera setup that houses a 12-megapixel wide-angle main camera, an OIS-enabled 12-megapixel sensor with Dual Pixel AF, and a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor with OIS, Dual Pixel AF and 2x optical zoom support.

As far as pricing is concerned, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is expected to arrive in India in two options such as 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. These modules could be priced at Rs 35,990 and Rs 39,990, respectively. Rumours suggest that the Note 10 Lite will be sold through both online and offline channels.

Customers who are interested in purchasing the phone can head on to its the official listing on Samsung’s site and hit the ‘Notify Me’ button to register for updates. Based on the official renders on the Samsung’s site, it can be said that the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will be coming to India in three colour options such as Aura Black, Aura Red and Aura Glow.

In related news, the Galaxy S10 Lite is expected to be priced between Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 45,000 in India. It is expected to hit Indian markets by first week of February. Speculations suggest it could be made available only through online platforms such as Samsung’s online store and Flipkart.
