Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite with Infinity-O display and triple rear cameras announced

After weeks of leaks, Samsung has finally unveiled the Galaxy Note 10 Lite smartphone ahead of the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) tech show in Las Vegas. The Note 10 Lite borrows the Infinity-O display design from the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ phones that were launched last year. However, it features a new square-shaped camera module on its rear panel. Being a Note series device, the phone ships with the S Pen stylus.

The Galaxy Note 10+ is equipped with a 6.7-inch S-AMOLED display with top-centre positioned punch-hole. The display that is integrated with a fingerprint sensor offers a 20:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ resolution. The newly unveiled Galaxy Note 10 Lite is fueled by a 10nm chipset that features a clock speed of up to 2.27GHz. The phone comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM choices. The device features 128GB of built-in storage and there is a dedicated microSD card slot onboard.

The phone runs Android 10 with the latest One UI 2.0 on top. The S Pen offers features like AR Doodle, Air Actions, Smart Select and Text Export. The Penup app can be used for enhancing the photos by using pre-defined templates. The handset is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports super-fast charging at an unknown speed.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is fitted with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. The rear-facing square-shaped camera system has a 12MP f/2.2 main ultra-wide sensor, a 12MP f/1.7 Dual Pixel AF lens with OIS, and a 12MP autofocus f/2.4 shooter with OIS. The Note 10 Lite offers other features such as dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB-C and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite price and availability

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite has gone official with a price tag of 599 euros (~Rs. 47,950). It can be bought in colours such as Aura Black, Aura Red and Aura Glow. The South Korean company will begin the sales of the smartphone by the end of Q1 this year. Past reports have claimed that India could be one of the markets to receive the Note 10 Lite.
