Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite launched in India, prices start at Rs 38,999

At the beginning of this year, Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 10 Lite for European markets. Soon after the announcement, the landing page of the phone appeared on Samsung India’s website. Today, the South Korean company has announced the Galaxy Note 10 Lite smartphone in India. The phone comes with a massive display with an Infinity-O design, like the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ flagship phones from last year. Other features of the phone include its 12-megapixel triple cameras, large battery and S Pen stylus. The phone will be available for pre-bookings in the country starting today at 2 pm, and will start shipping from February 3rd.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite sports a marvellous Infinity-O display and S Pen stylus

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite houses a 6.7-inch S-AMOLED display that offers a tall aspect ratio of 20:9. The display produces full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. The screen is embedded with a fingerprint sensor. The Exynos 9810 chipset fuels the Note 10 Lite. The handset has arrived in India in two RAM variants of 6GB and 8GB. Both models offer an internal storage of 128GB. A dedicated microSD card slot is available on the device.

The One UI 2.0 based Android 10 runs on the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. The handset comes with Samsung Knox security platform. The phone draws power from a 4,500mAh battery that is equipped with support for fast charging. One of the major highlights of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is its Bluetooth integrated S Pen. It brings support for features like Air Doodle for drawing in 3D, Air Actions for using it as a remote control, Smart Select for easily selecting and sharing content, Text Export that converts handwriting to text and the PENUP App for modifying images into artwork.

The rear shell of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is fitted with a square-shaped camera module. It has an LED flash, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 123-degree field-of-view and f/2.2 aperture,  a 12-megapixel main lens with Dual Pixel autofocus, OIS and f/1.7 aperture and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, OIS and f/2.4 aperture. The punch-hole on the display is home to its 32-megapixel selfie camera. Lastly, the connectivity features include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB-C and a 3.5mm headphone slot.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 price in India and availability

The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB editions of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite are priced at Rs 38,999 and Rs 40,999 respectively. The phone can be bought in three colours such as Aura Red, Aura Black and Aura Glow. As part of the launch offer, the brand will offer the handset for Rs 33,999 with an upgrade offer of up to Rs 5,000. The company hasn’t provided any details of this offer yet. The phone will be available through major retail stores, e-commerce portals, and the brand’s website from February 3rd.
