Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite may debut at CES 2020

Recent reports have revealed plenty of information on the specifications of the upcoming Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite smartphones. These smartphones are expected to release in the European markets in January. A fresh report on The Korea Herald states that Samsung may showcase the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020 tech exhibition that will be held between January 7th and 10th in Las Vegas, US. Both phones will arrive as affordable versions of the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10 flagship phones that were unveiled earlier this year.

The report claimed that Samsung is likely to present the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite at CES 2020. It also stated that the company is unlikely to announce its second foldable phone that is expected to arrive with a clamshell form factor. Samsung may showcase it along with the Galaxy S11 series through a dedicated event in February. Samsung is also expected to launch new mid-range Galaxy phones at the CES 2020. The report has further stated that the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite are expected to debut in India in January.

According to recent reports on Winfuture.de, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and S10 Lite are both going to feature 6.7-inch S-AMOLED Infinity-O displays that will produce 1080 x 2400 pixels full HD+ resolution. Both phones will sport a front-facing camera of 32-megapixel.

The rear side of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will have a square-shaped camera housing that will include an LED flash, an f/1.7 aperture 12-megapixel primary lens, an f/2.4 aperture 12-megapixel telephoto lens and an f/2.4 aperture 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor. On the other side, the Galaxy S10 Lite will also sport a triple camera system on its back that will comprise of an f/2.0 aperture 48-megapixel primary shooter with tilt OIS feature, an f/2.2 aperture 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor and an f/2.4 aperture 5-megapixel macro lens.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite will be powered by Exynos 9810 chipset and 6GB of RAM whereas the Galaxy S10 Lite will be driven by Snapdragon 855 and 8GB of RAM. Both phones will offer 128GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot. The One UI 2.0 based Android 10 OS will come preloaded on both phones. Both smartphones will feature 4,500mAb batteries. However, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will support 25W fast charging and the S10 Lite will come with 45W rapid charging. Being a Note series device, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will be equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 enabled S Pen and it will also come with a 3.5mm audio jack among other connectivity features.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite will be heading to Western European markets with a pricing of 609 euros (~Rs. 48,000) and it will be available in colours like Aura Black, Aura Red, and Aura Glowpress. On the other hand, the Galaxy S10 Lite will be aimed towards Southern European regions with a pricing of 679 euros (~Rs. 53,600). It will come in colour editions such as Prism Black, Prism White and Prism Blue.
