Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ launched in India; Price and specifications

Earlier in this month, Samsung had launched the Galaxy Note 10 series through a global launch event. Today, the South Korean company has officially launched the Note 10 and Note 10+ in India. Both smartphones have been available for pre-orders since August 8th. Starting from August 23rd, the Galaxy Note 10 series will be available for purchase through multiple platforms in the country.

The Galaxy Note 10 comes in a single variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage, and costs Rs 69,999. The Galaxy Note 10+ has arrived in India in two models – 12GB RAM + 256GB storage for Rs 79,999, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage for Rs 89,999. The Note 10 and Note 10+ can be bought in three colours, Aura Glow, Aura White and Aura Black.

The Galaxy Note 10 smartphones can be purchased through Samsung’s online store, Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm, Tata CLiQ and select retail outlets across India. The first sale of the smartphone will take place on August 23rd. Buyers can avail the Note 10 series through no-cost EMI plans and they can also benefit from a 10 percent extra exchange bonus through Cashify.

HDFC bank card users can take advantage of Rs 6,000 cashback when purchasing the Note 10 or Note 10+ online or offline. There is also a cashback of Rs 6,000 for ICICI bank users who purchase the Note 10 or Note 10+ online. The Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxy Buds that are normally priced at Rs 19,990 and Rs 9,999 respectively are available at Rs 9,999 and Rs 4,999 respectively for Note 10 series customers.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ Specifications

The Galaxy Note 10 has a full HD+ 6.3-inch display, whereas the Note 10+ has a bigger quad HD+ 6.8-inch display. Both phones are equipped with curved S-AMOLED Infinity-O panels that feature a punch-hole at top-centre for the 10-megapixel front-facing camera. The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ are equipped with ultrasonic in-display fingerprint readers.

The Exynos 9825 chipset powers the Indian editions of the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. For heat dissipation, the Note 10 series features vapour chamber cooling. The Note 10+ has a hybrid SIM slot, while there is no external storage slot on the Note 10. The Galaxy Note 10+ features a 4,300mAh battery that carries support for 45W fast charging. On the other hand, the Note 10 comes with 25W fast charging. Both phones support PowerShare reverse charging and fast wireless charging.

The rear side of the Note 10 features a triple camera setup that comprises of a 12-megpaixel wide-angle lens with f/1.5 to f/2.4 variable aperture, a 123-degree 16-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 45-degree 12-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS and f/2.1 aperture. The Galaxy Note 10+ features the same camera sensors as the Note 10, along with an additional DepthVision VGA ToF sensor.

Both phones run One UI 1.1 based on Android 9 Pie. The Bluetooth enabled S-Pen comes with an Air Actions function that makes it possible to navigate the device through gestures. Other features of the smartphone include Samsung DeX support, AKG tuned stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos surround sound technology, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, ANT+, NFC GPS and USB Type-C. The Note 10 duo lack a hardware button for accessing Bixby Assistant, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack.
