Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy Note 10 series on August 7th. Rumours have claimed that the series will include two smartphones – the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+. Both phones will reportedly arrive in LTE and 5G versions. Now, seemingly official renders of the Note 10 and Note 10+ smartphones have leaked to reveal their front and rear design.
Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ Renders
The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ renders reveal that both smartphones have identical design. The only major difference between the model’s design is the presence of a 3D ToF sensor on the Note 10+. Also, the Note 10 is a smaller device featuring a 6.3-inch AMOLED display whereas the Note 10+ has a 6.75-inch AMOLED display. The displays of both phones are curved towards the edges and they are expected to carry support for quad HD+ resolution.
Speaking of the display, the Note 10 series seems to offer very high screen-to-body ratio since it features ultra-thin bezels. The chin of the Note 10 and Note 10+ handsets are a bit thick compared to the other bezels. At the top of both smartphones, there is a centrally positioned punch-hole for the selfie camera. One major change that Samsung has brought on the Note 10 series compared to the predecessor Galaxy Note 9 is the removal of the Bixby button.
The renders show the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ in colours like glossy Black and Silver Prism with an attractive gradient finish. There is a black S Pen for the Black variant and blue S Pen for the Silver Prism model. The rear sides of both phones lack a fingerprint scanner. The Note 10 and Note 10+ will be the first Note series smartphones to arrive with in-display fingerprint scanners. The Note 10 lineup will have ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensors like the Galaxy S10 models.
There is a vertical triple camera setup on the back of the Note 10 and Note 10+ smartphones. As can be seen on the rear shells of both phones, a vertical camera module with three camera sensors placed inside it. There is an LED flash placed alongside the camera system of the Galaxy Note 10. The Note 10+ has an LED flash, a gradient colourway and a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) sensor positioned alongside its vertical camera setup.
The connectivity ports are not visible on the renders of Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ smartphones. The first renders of the Note 10+ that was released in June by PriceBaba had shown that it won’t be featuring a 3.5mm audio jack. Even the Note 10 is unlikely to feature it. It is speculated that the Galaxy Note 10 series will come bundled with a pair of wired USB-C earbuds.
