Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra specifications leaked: 120Hz display, 108MP camera and more

Recent reports have revealed a ton of information on the Galaxy Note 20 series that is all set to go official on August 5th. The lineup includes two phones, the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Ahead of the launch, has revealed the entire specifications of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra along with its official renders.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will come with several improvements compared to the Galaxy Note 10+. The display will come with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the phone will feature an upgraded S Pen stylus and a 108MP primary camera.

As per the report, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will measures 164.8 x 77.2 x 8.1 mm. It will house a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a tall aspect ratio of 19.3:9. The screen will feature a resolution of 1,440 x 3,200 pixels and 508ppi pixel density. It will be the first smartphone to arrive with the Corning Gorilla Glass 7 protection. A fingerprint sensor will be integrated under the display.

The Exynos 990 5G chipset that fueled the Galaxy S20 series will be driving the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with up to 12GB of RAM in Europe. Recent reports have revealed that the Snapdragon 865 Plus CPU variant of the phone will be made available in certain markets. It will be available in 256GB and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage options.

The Note 20 Ultra will feature a 4,500mAh battery which can be charged to 50 percent capacity in 30 minutes. It will also support wireless charging. The Note 20 Ultra will boot One UI  flavoured Android 10. In collaboration with Microsoft, Samsung will bring support for optimised cloud gaming through Project xCloud. The phone will work like a portable gaming console as it will pffer access to 90 games through Xbox Game Pass.

The Galaxy Note20 Ultra will feature a 10MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus support. The triple rear cameras will comprise a 108-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus. It will be coupled with a 12-megapixel periscope lens with f/3.0 aperture and a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. It will not not support the 100x Space Zoom feature that was introduced on the Galaxy S20 Ultra, and instead will offer 50x Space Zoom and 5x optical zoom.

The updated S Pen for the Galaxy Note20 Ultra will offer a response time of 9 milliseconds. It will featureOneNote synchronisations and gesture commands. With Samsung DeX support, Note20 Ultra users will be able to take advantage of a desktop experience by connecting it to an external display. The other features that will be available on the phablet include an IP68 rating, AKG-tuned stereo speakers, dual GPS, NFC, USB-C 3.2, Bluetooth 5.x, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, and dual-SIM slot and an additional e-SIM support.

The source did not provide information on the pricing and availability of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. However it is likely to be priced above €1000 (~Rs 86,000) in Europe. It is expected to arrive in two colours, Mystic Bronze and Mystic Black.
