Samsung Galaxy S10 series will launch in India on March 6th

Samsung has announced the India launch of its latest flagship Galaxy S10 series. The Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy 10e will launch on March 6th in New Delhi, just two weeks after they were globally unveiled. The phones carry tall AMOLED displays, punch hole selfie cameras and Exynos 9820 processors. Let’s have a look at their specifications and price:

The Samsung Galaxy S10 carries a 6.1-inch S-AMOLED Infinity-O punch-hole display with a resolution of 3,040 x 1,440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. There’s no notch on the phone and the display also houses an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint reader. The phone runs on the Samsung Exynos 9820 octa-core processor which is clocked at 2.73GHz. The performance is further handled by 8GB of RAM and  128GB/512GB of internal storage. The phone has a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack as well.

Camera-wise, the phone has a triple rear camera setup with a configuration of 12MP + 12MP + 16MP, where the first is a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, OIS and autofocus, the second is a wide-angle lens with variable aperture, OIS and dual pixel autofocus, and the third is an ultra wide-angle lens with fixed focus. The selfie snapper on the Galaxy S10 carries a 10MP sensor. The device also has a 3,400mAh battery with support for fast charging and fast wireless charging. It runs Android 9 Pie with Samsung One UI on the top. The connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac with 4 x 4 MIMO, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C.

The Galaxy S10 will launch in Prism White, Prism Black and Prism Blue shades. The 128GB variant of the phone will sell for Rs 66,900 while the 512GB variant will be priced at Rs 84,900.

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ weighs 175g and has a 6.4-inch S-AMOLED Infinity-O punch-hole display with a resolution of 3,040 x 1,440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The display has a pill-shaped front camera cutout in the display, and an under-display fingerprint sensor as well. The device runs on the Samsung Exynos 9820 octa-core processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/512GB of ROM. A special variant with a ceramic body, 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage is also available.

The rear camera setup of the phone is identical to the Galaxy S10 but the difference lies in the selfie snapper. The Galaxy S10+ has dual front cameras with a 10MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.9 and 80-degree field of view, and an 8MP RGB sensor with fixed focus and an aperture of f/2.2. The phone has a bigger 4,100mAh battery with support for fast charging and fast wireless charging. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac with 4 x 4 MIMO, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. A dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack is available and the device runs Android 9 Pie with Samsung One UI on the top.

The Galaxy S10+ 128GB edition will arrive in Prism White, Prism Black and Prism Blue, while its 512GB  and 1TB variants will have a ceramic body in Ceramic White and Ceramic Black hues. The three variants will be priced at Rs 73,900, Rs 91,900 and Rs 1,17,900, respectively.

The smallest of three smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S10e comes with a 5.8-inch flat S-AMOLED Infinity-O display with a resolution of 2,280 x 1,440 pixels. The display has an aspect ratio of 19:9. The fingerprint sensor of the phone is placed on the side integrated with the power button. It runs on the Samsung Exynos 9820 octa-core processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Camera-wise, the phone carries a dual rear setup with a 12MP wide-angle lens and 16MP ultra-wide angle lens. The selfie snapper of the phone is embedded in the display and has a 10MP sensor.

The Galaxy S10e has a 3,100mAh battery with support for fast charging and fast wireless charging. The phone runs Android 9 Pie with Samsung One UI on top, has a 3.5mm headphone jack and connectivity options like dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac with 4 x 4 MIMO, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. This offering will launch in Prism Black and Prism White colours with a price tag of Rs 55,900.
