Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite specifications and features
As the leaked renders of the Galaxy S10 Lite have revealed, it will be arriving with a 6.7-inch S-AMOLED screen with Infinity-O design. It will offer 20:9 aspect ratio and support full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display of the phone will be integrated with a fingerprint sensor. A 32-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture will be placed at the top-centre positioned punch-hole on the display. The Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor that works at 2.84GHz clock speed will power the Galaxy S10 Lite. The other Galaxy S10 models that are available in the European markets are powered by the Exynos chipset. However, the report claims that the South Korean company will not be selling the Exynos edition of S10 Lite in Europe. Hence, Europe will be receiving the Snapdragon 855 driven S10 Lite.
The SoC will be coupled with 8GB of RAM and it will arrive with a native storage of 128GB. The storage can be further expanded by adding a microSD card to the device. The One UI 2.0 based Android 10 OS will run on the device. Even though the thickness of the device is 8.1mm, the smartphone houses a big battery of 4,500mAh capacity. The handset comes with support for 45W fast charging through USB-C.
The Galaxy S10 Lite also impresses in the rear camera department. It features an OIS enabled f/2.0 aperture 48-megapixel main lens. The report claims that it is a different kind of OIS which is dubbed as “tilt-OIS”. It allows the lens in front of the camera sensor to tilt a few degrees in different directions to offset the hand movements of the user. The said feature will be marketed as “tOIS” by Samsung. The main lens will be coupled with an f/2.2 aperture 12-megapixel ultrawide lens and an f/2.4 aperture 5-megapixel macro lens.
In related news, some reports have claimed that SM-A905 and SM-A908 are the variants of the Galaxy S10 Lite for other markets. It is speculated that the SM-A905/8 may debut as Galaxy A91 in certain markets.
