Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus and S10e Launched in India: Price, Specifications and Launch offers

Samsung had globally unveiled the Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10e flagship phones on February 20th. The South Korean company has announced the Galaxy S10 series in India today through a dedicated launch event that was held at New Delhi.

Galaxy S10+ Specifications and Price

The Galaxy S10+ features a 6.4-inch curved S-AMOLED quad HD+ screen that features a pill-shaped cutout for the 10-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual selfie snappers. It is equipped with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint reader. The Exynos 9820 SoC and 8GB of RAM powers the smartphone along with a 4,100mAh battery. The triple camera setup on its rear features an OIS enabled 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a telephoto lens of 12-megapixel with OIS and 2x optical zoom and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens.

The 128 GB Galaxy S10+ is priced at Rs 73,900 and its colour variants are Prism Black, Prism White and Prism Blue. The ceramic-bodied 512GB and 1TB Galaxy S10+ variants are priced at Rs 90,900 and Rs 1,17,900 respectively, and these models can be bought in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White hues.

Galaxy S10 Specifications and Price

The Galaxy S10 features a 6.1-inch curved S-AMOLED quad HD+ screen. It features a cutout for a 10-megapixel front camera and is embedded with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by an Exynos 9820 SoC and 8GB of RAM. It draws power from a 3,400mAh battery. Also, it is fitted with the same triple camera setup that is available on the Galaxy S10+.

The 128GB and 512GB storage editions of the Galaxy S10 cost Rs 66,900 and Rs 84,900 respectively. The 128GB model can be purchased in Prism Black and Prism White colours, whereas the 512GB variant comes in Prism White only.

Galaxy S10e Specifications and Price

The Galaxy S10e has a smaller 5.8-inch S-AMOLED full HD+ flat display with a cutout for a 10-megapixel selfie camera. The Exynos 9820 SoC is assisted by 6GB of RAM on the S10e. It includes a 3,100mAh battery. The back panel of the phone features a dual camera setup that comprises of a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. The S10e is fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

Some of the common features available on the Galaxy S10 series include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, microSD card slot, 15W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, reverse wireless charging and One UI based Android 9 Pie.

The Galaxy S10e comes only in a 128GB storage model in India and it is priced at Rs 55,900. Prism Black and Prism White are its two colour variants.

Galaxy S10 Series Availability

Since the past two weeks, the Galaxy S10+, S10 and S10e have been available for pre-booking through multiple online platforms. The shipments of the phone will begin from today. Samsung’s online store, Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm and Tata CLIQ are the platforms for purchase the new flagship phones from the company. The S10 series can be purchased through various retail outlets across India from March 8.

As part of the launch offers, Samsung is offering cashback of up to Rs 6,000 to HDFC Bank users, and exchange bonuses of up to Rs 15,000. Additional offers include benefits worth Rs 3,600 for Airtel users, a Netflix subscription worth Rs 6,000 for Vodafone users and benefits up to Rs 14,997 for Jio users.
