Samsung launched its latest Galaxy S series flagships called the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra earlier this year with prices starting at Rs 66,999 for the vanilla Galaxy S20 and Rs 73,999 for the Galaxy S20+. Flipkart is selling the latter at Rs 49,999 as part of its Big Billion Days sale and the phone can be picked for as low as Rs 35,498 through Flipkart Smart Upgrade offer.
The Smart Upgrade offer is provided by Flipkart through Samsung’s Galaxy Forever program. As part of the offer, users will only need to pay 70 percent of the Samsung Galaxy S20+ price at the time of purchase. However, there’s a catch and the offer is not available to all. Let’s take a look at the offer details.
Samsung Galaxy S20+ offer on Flipkart
The Samsung Galaxy S20+ comes in a single configuration – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage with the regular price set at Rs 73,999. As part of the Big Billion Days sale, Flipkart was providing a discount of Rs 24,000 and selling the smartphone at Rs 49,999. The e-commerce retailer has also partnered with Samsung to provide the Flipkart Smart Upgrade offer, which requires users to pay only 70 percent of the price at the time of purchase.
Those willing to opt for the Smart Upgrade offer will have to select the Flipkart Smart Upgrade Plan as an add-on from the product page. Flipkart is charging a fee of Rs 499 for the plan, which brings the effective price up to Rs 50,498. Once opted, the customer will get an instant discount of Rs 15,000, bringing the price down to Rs 35,498.
However, the Smart Upgrade offer only works on payments made using credit cards, credit card EMI and Bajaj Finserv EMI card. Additionally, the maximum tenure allowed as part of the offer is nine months, which means if you want to opt for an EMI duration higher than nine months, the Smart Upgrade offer will not be applicable.
