Samsung Galaxy S20 series India pre-orders open today, prices start at Rs 66,999

Just a couple of days ago, Samsung unveiled its latest Galaxy S series flagships called the Galaxy S20Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra. Soon after the introduction, the South Korean tech giant has announced that it will start taking pre-orders for the new Galaxy S20 series devices in the country starting 12pm today on its website. As for the pricing, the Galaxy S20 and S20+ will be available at a starting price of Rs 66,999 and Rs 73,999 respectively. As for the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the phone will be offered at a starting price tag of Rs 92,999 in the country.

Samsung Galaxy S20 series devices offer up to quad rear cameras and up to 45W fast charging

As part of the pre-booking offers, Galaxy S20 buyers will be able to purchase the Galaxy Buds+ at Rs 2,999 and Samsung Care+ at Rs 1,999. As for Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra buyers, they can pick up the Galaxy Buds+ at Rs 1,999 and Samsung Care+ for Rs 1,999. Samsung Care+ provides complete coverage of accidental physical or liquid damage, including the screen for a period of one year.

Those who will pre-book the new Samsung Galaxy S series handsets will also get additional benefits from Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone-Idea.

Samsung Galaxy S20 series specifications and features

The Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra were unveiled at an event on February 12th. They were announced as the first smartphones from the brand to offer a screen refresh rate of 120Hz. They are equipped with Exynos 990 or the Snapdragon 865 processors depending on the region (India is likely to get the Exynos variants) as well as LPDDR5 RAM. As for the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the handset is the company’s first phone to flaunt a 40MP selfie shooter and a 108MP main sensor at the rear with up to 100x zooming capabilities.

Notably, the Galaxy S20 Ultra is the brand’s first handset to offer up to 16GB of RAM, which is the first in the world for a commercial smartphone. Other highlights of the new Galaxy S series phones include curved screens, in-display fingerprint sensors, up to quad rear cameras, and up to 45W fast charging support.
