Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra renders and prices leaked

The Samsung Galaxy S20 series and the new Galaxy Z Flip foldable clamshell phone are slated to go official on February 11th. Plenty of details on the Samsung Galaxy S20 series have surfaced through multiple sources in the recent past Now 91mobiles has teamed up popular tipster Ishan Agarwal to bring renders of the different colour variants of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra. Also, the leaked pricing of the Galaxy S20 series for the European markets have also surfaced.

According to the new leak, the Galaxy S20 series will have a starting price of €899 (~Rs 70,900) in the European market. Its 5G version will begin at €999 (~Rs 78,800). The base model of the Galaxy S20+ 5G will be priced at €1,099 (~Rs 86,000). The S20 and S20+ can be bought in colours like Cosmic Black, Cosmic Blue and Cloud Blue.

The base variant of the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G will cost €1,349 (~Rs 1,06,000). There is no confirmation on whether the base model has 128GB or 256GB storage. Its higher edition with 512GB storage will be priced at €1,549 (~Rs 1,22,000). The three colour editions of the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G are Cosmic Black, Cosmic Grey and Cloud Blue.

The Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ are expected to arrive with 2.5D curved glass instead of 3D glass seen on previous models. This indicates users will be able to easily place screen protectors on the displays of S20 series. The rectangular camera module on the S20 has three cameras and an LED flash. The S20+ has an additional 3D ToF (Time of Flight) sensor in its camera module. In the front, the Galaxy S20 and S20+ have an Infinity-O display with almost non-existent side bezels. The buttons for volume and power are on the right spine. There is no dedicated button for Samsung’s Bixby AI assistant.

The S20 and S20+ will be equipped with 6.2-inch and 6.7-inch S-AMOLED screens with quad HD+ resolution. Their displays will offer a 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate support and will be integrated with a fingerprint sensor. Depending on the market, the S20 and S20+ will come with the Snapdragon 865 or Exynos chipset. Both phones may come with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

The Galaxy S20 will have a 12-megapixel main lens, a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter in its triple camera setup. The S20+ will have the same lenses along with an extra 3D ToF sensor. Both phones may sport 10-megapixel front cameras. The S20 may house a 4,000mAh battery whereas the S20+ may come with a 4,500mAh battery. Both devices will be equipped with fast charging.

Like the other S20 models, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G also features a 2.5D curved screen. Its right side features a volume rocker and a power button. It has a protruding rectangular camera module with Space Zoom branding on its back. In the camera setup, the squarish sensor is a periscope lens that will bring support for 10x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. Above the periscope lens are the three lenses which include a 108-megapixel main camera, a 48-megpaixel telephoto snapper, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a single-tone LED flash. There is a fifth 3D ToF sensor which cannot be seen clearly in the new renders. The other design elements of the S20 Ultra 5G are same as the S20 and S20+.

The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is said to feature a 6.9-inch S-AMOLED Infinity-O display with quad HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and in-screen fingerprint reader. It is said to be equipped with a 40-megapixel selfie shooter. The Snapdragon 865 / Exynos 990 will be fueling the device with up to 16GB of RAM. It may offer users up to 512GB of storage. It could be housing a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support.

All the S20 models are rumoured to be equipped with IP68 ratings. For additional storage, they will have a dedicated microSD card slot. They will run One UI 2.0 based on Android 10.
