Samsung Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy Z Flip pre-registrations open in India

Just a few hours ago, Samsung introduced its latest Galaxy S series flagship smartphones called the Galaxy S20Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra. In addition, the brand took the covers off its latest foldable smartphone dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. The new Samsung phones will initially be available in select markets like the US and South Korea. The company is soon expected to launch the Galaxy S20 series and the Galaxy Z Flip in the Indian market. Ahead of the launch, all the four new Galaxy phones have been listed on the brand’s Indian website and their pre-registrations are also open. Notably, the product listings on the company’s website suggest that the new Samsung phones won’t be coming in India with 5G connectivity.

Indian consumers can register their interest in the Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy Z Flip in India

Users can register their interest in the Samsung Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy Z Flip foldable smartphone by visiting the brand’s website. To register interest, you will have to provide some personal information in the form, including your name, email, mobile number, and pin code. After registering, you will be notified by the brand once the new Galaxy phones land in the country.

Samsung Galaxy S20 series specifications and features

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra are the South Korean tech giant’s first smartphones to flaunt screen refresh rates of 120Hz. They are also the first from the brand to offer the Exynos 990 / Snapdragon 865 processor and LPDDR5 RAM. The Galaxy S20 Ultra is the South Korean tech giant’s first phone to boast a 40MP selfie camera as well as a 108MP primary rear camera, which offers a massive 100x zooming capabilities.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is the brand’s second foldable phone

As for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, it is the brand’s second foldable handset after the Galaxy Fold. The phone has a clamshell design, just like the Moto razr. The new foldable offering from the brand is packed with a 6.7-inch main screen that features a cover made from “Ultra Thin Glass”. There’s also a secondary 1.1-inch display on the outside of the device that shows notifications, time, and more.

Samsung Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy Z Flip price in India

Samsung hasn’t yet announced the Indian pricing of the Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy Z Flip. In the US, the Galaxy S20 series models have a starting price of $999.99 (~Rs 71,300) for the base variant, while the Galaxy Z Flip costs a whopping $1,380 (~Rs 98,500). We expect the brand to launch the latest Galaxy phones in India at some point later this month.
