According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Galaxy S21 FE will carry a starting price of Rs 52,000 in India. With discounts, the smartphone may begin at Rs 48,000 or Rs 49,000. The S21 FE is likely to face stiff competition from the OnePlus 9RT, which is scheduled to launch on January 14th, 2022, in India. The 9RT is speculated to carry a sub-Rs 40,000 price tag.

The Galaxy S21 FE is available in multiple variants such as 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage in other markets. It is unclear whether all or only select variants of the S21 FE make it to India. The handset is likely to arrive in India in colours like Black, Graphite, Olive, and White.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G specifications

The entire specifications and key features of the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition listed on the microsite are in-line with the global model. It features a 6.4-inch AMOLED FHD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint sensor and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

The Amazon listing does not mention the name of the chipset that fuels the Indian variant of the S21 FE. While the U.S. and Europe received its Snapdragon 888 SoC edition, India is speculated to be treated with its Exynos 2100 SoC variant.  The handset is backed by a 4,500mAh battery, which carries support for 25W charging. The fine print of the listing states that the 25W charger will be sold separately. The device will also carry support for 10W wireless charging. In addition, the reverse wireless charging feature will allow users to use the S21 FE to charge other devices like earbuds, a smartwatch, or another phone wirelessly.

The Galaxy S21 FE has a 32-megapixel camera for snapping selfies. Its rear-facing camera setup has a 12-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide snapper, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. The rear cameras offer features like OIS, 30x Space Zoom, and 4K video shooting. The device is equipped with other features like 5G connectivity and IP68 rated dustproof and water-resistant body.
