Samsung has been announcing its Galaxy S series of flagship phones in February each year. However, multiple reports have claimed that the South Korean company will be announcing the Galaxy S21 series earlier in January next year. A recent leak had even claimed that the S21 lineup will be unveiled on January 14th. A fresh report by Android Authority states that Samsung’s Opera House retail store in Bengaluru, which happens to be the company’s biggest experience store has confirmed that the Galaxy S21 series will globally launch on January 14th.
The aforementioned store has already started receiving the pre-orders for the Galaxy S21 smartphones. The sales of the next-generation S-series flagships are slated to commence on January 29th in India.
Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra pre-orders
The Samsung store in Bengaluru is now receiving blind orders for the Galaxy S21 series. One can pre-book by spending Rs 2,000 and the company will keep the customers informed about the availability details through WhatsApp. The S21 series has three phones namely, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Since it is a blind order offer, customers who participate in the pre-orders will be able to select their desired S20 model only after the official announcement.
The executives at the Samsung store also revealed that the Galaxy S21 will be available in four colours such as gray, pink, purple, and white. The Galaxy S21+ will come in options like pink, purple, silver, and black. The Galaxy S21 Ultra will be available in two colours such as black and white. While markets like the US and South Korea are expected to receive the Snapdragon 888 powered version of the Galaxy S21 trio, it is now confirmed that Indian units will be fuelled by the upcoming Exynos 2100 chipset.
