The leaked video teasers of the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra reveal that they will continue to use punch-hole displays like the S20 series. However, the major improvement in the design can be seen in the camera area of the S21 series. As can be seen in the video teasers, the rear camera module of the S21 trio fuses with its frame, which gives it a unique appeal.

Samsung Galaxy S21 series video teasers

The Galaxy S21 5G in Phantom Violet colour is showcased in the first video. It is fitted with a flat-display that features a selfie camera cutout at the top-center. Like the predecessor model, it has slim bezels around the screen. The rear shell is made of glossy plastic that appears like glass.

The camera module is in bronze colour, while the remaining rear panel is in violet. The leak states that it features a 12-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens.

The Galaxy S21+ 5G looks like the Galaxy S21 5G. The leak mentions that its overall design, camera configurations, and colour will be identical to the vanilla model. The S21+ 5G is expected to arrive with a larger display and a bigger battery.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is fitted with a larger and curved display. The rear design of the phone is similar to the S21 and S21+ 5G, but it is blessed with an additional camera. The rear camera setup of the S21 Ultra 5G has a 108-megapixel main camera, a 10-megapixel super-telephoto zoom lens with 10x zoom support, a 12-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom support. The camera housing also includes a laser autofocus sensor instead of the TOF sensor found on the predecessor Galaxy S20 Ultra. Also, the Ultra phone is long rumoured to arrive with S Pen stylus support.

The publication has learnt from its sources that the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event will be held on January 14th where Samsung will announce the Galaxy S21 series. The S21 trio is expected to go on sale on January 29th in the U.S. It is unclear whether the S21 models will be available for purchase from the same date in India. The report also mentions that the Galaxy S21 series will be priced lower than the S20 series due to the economic crisis caused by the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic.
