Samsung is set to unveil its next-generation flagship Galaxy S21 series at an Unpacked event on January 14th. The launch event will be live streamed on Samsung.com starting at 8pm in India. The South Korean brand hasn’t announced the names of its upcoming Galaxy devices, but they are going up for pre-orders in certain markets.
Samsung India is the latest to open pre-orders of the Galaxy S21 series in the country. Interested customers can get early access to the S21 series by registering here.
Samsung Galaxy S21 series pre-booking offers in India
Customers pre-booking the Galaxy S21 series will have to purchase a ‘Next Galaxy VIP’ pass worth Rs 2,000. Samsung is promising priority delivery to those who pre-order the upcoming smartphone. The amount will be deducted from the final bill amount in case the customer ends up buying any device from the Galaxy S21 series.
Samsung is also offering a free Smart Clear Cover worth Rs 3,849 for buyers who purchase the upcoming flagship smartphone. However, the brand hasn’t revealed if this offer is applicable on all three devices i.e. Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra.
The option to pre-book the upcoming Galaxy S21 is available till January 14th. Customers will get confirmation of VIP pass on their email ID and mobile number. They can also cancel at any time before use and avail a 100 percent refund.
Samsung Galaxy S21 series specifications and features
The upcoming Galaxy S21 phones are expected to sport 120Hz AMOLED displays with punch-hole cameras. The standard and Plus variants will feature 6.2 and 6.7-inch screens respectively, while the Ultra model with come with a 6.8-inch display.
As per leaks and renders, the Galaxy S21 lineup will feature a rear camera module that blends in with the side of the frame, thus eliminating the camera bump. The S21 and S21+ will pack triple cameras while the Ultra variant will sport quad camera setup.
In India, the Galaxy S21 series is tipped to be equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 2100 processor which will be unveiled by the company on January 12th. The S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra are expected to be powered by 4,500mAh, 4,800mAh and 5,000mAh battery units respectively, all with support for 25W charging. The
smartphones will ship with the latest Android 11 based OneUI 3.1. The Galaxy S21 Ultra is also rumoured to arrive with S-pen support. We will know more details about the Galaxy S21 at the launch event next Thursday.
