Samsung Galaxy S22 series will be launching in February. The flagship smartphone lineup from Samsung is now tipped to debut on February 9th, 2022.The predecessor Galaxy S21 lineup that debuted in January 2021 will be succeeded by the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
A Reddit user has shared a screenshot of a Google survey that mentions the pricing of the Galaxy S22 trio. It reveals that the S22 models will be available with a starting price of $899 (~Rs 67,150). In addition, a tipster with TechInsiderBlog Twitter account has tipped the same pricing for the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra.

The Google survey and the tipster have revealed the starting prices of the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra. The three models will be available in the US at a starting price of $899 (~Rs 67,150), $1,099 (~Rs 82,100), and S1,299 (~$97,000), respectively. The pricing leak suggests that the Galaxy S22 lineup will be costing around $100 more than its predecessor.
Last week, reliable tipster Roland Quandt claimed that the Galaxy S22 will be coming to Europe in variants such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage for €849 (~Rs 71,600) and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage for €899 (~Rs 76,000). The Galaxy S22+ variants such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage will be priced at €1,049 (~Rs 88,700) and €1,099 (~Rs 92,900), respectively.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is likely to arrive in three variants such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. These variants will be priced at €1,249 (~Rs 1,05,600), €1,349 (~Rs 1,14,000), and €1,449 (~Rs 1,22,500), respectively. At present, there is no word on the Galaxy S22 series launch date and pricing for India.
Galaxy S22 series specifications (rumoured)
The Galaxy S22 is expected to feature a 6.06-inch FHD+ display and a 4,000mAh battery. The S22 Plus, on the other hand, might sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ display and a 4,800mAh battery. The S22 Ultra will get a 6.8-inch QHD+ screen and a 5,000mAh battery. These models will use a 120Hz AMOLED display that offers 1,750nits of peak brightness and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The S22 trio will run on Android 12 OS with One UI 4.x UI on top. The Galaxy S22 series will ship with either Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 chip depending on the market. These smartphones are expected to support 45W rapid charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ will feature a 10-megapixel front camera.
Both phones will have a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 12-megapixel (ultrawide) + 10-megapixel (telephoto, with OIS) triple camera unit. On the other hand, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a 40-megapixel front-facing camera, and a quad-camera unit featuring an OIS-ready 108-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, an OIS-assisted 10-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS support.
