Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra specifications and features have emerged through leaked marketing materials designed for the Italian market. The new leak comes from reputed tipster Evan Blass who shared the below-shown images through his Substack account. The S22 Ultra is scheduled to go official with Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ on February 9th, 2022.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra will be succeeding the Galaxy S21 Ultra from last year. It can be said based on leaks that the S22 Ultra will come with improvements like an enhanced design with no camera bump, brighter display, better processor, latest Android OS, faster-charging capabilities, and a dedicated compartment for stylus
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra marketing materials leaked
The marketing materials of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra have revealed that it has a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that offers QHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and 1,750 nits of brightness. The device measures 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9mm.
The front side of the device will be flanked by a 40-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera unit will include a 108-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 12-megapixel ultrawide snapper with an f/2.2 aperture, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/4.9 aperture. The latter is said to be a periscope zoom lens. The S22 Ultra will come with support for 100x Space Zoom.
The 4nm Exynos 2200 chipset will fuel the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Reports have claimed that some markets like Europe and India will receive the Exynos variant, whereas some other markets will get Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. One of the images states that S22 Ultra will be the first S-series phone to come integrated with an S Pen stylus. Reports have claimed that there will be a dedicated storage slot for storing the S Pen.
The leak does not mention the battery size of the S22 Ultra but reveals that it will carry support for 45W ultra-fast charging. Reports have claimed that it will be housing a 5,000mAh battery. Lastly, the leak reveals that the retail package of the S22 Ultra will include the device with the S Pen, a USB Type-C to Type-C cable, and a SIM ejector tool. It means that the 45W charger will not be included in the package.
Past reports have claimed the S22 Ultra will come in three options such as 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. These models are likely to be priced at €1,249 (~Rs 1,05,200), €1,349 (~Rs 1,13,600), and €1,449 (~Rs 1,22,050), respectively.
Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+ sales could be delayed
In related news, reliable tipster Jon Prosser has shared some information on the availability of the Galaxy S22 lineup. While the pre-orders for the S22 trio will begin from February 9th, 2022, the S22 and S22+ will be made available for purchase from March 11th, 2022. The reason behind it seems to be the ongoing supply chain issues. As far as the Galaxy S22 Ultra is concerned, it is expected to go on sale from February 25th, 2022.
