The Galaxy S20 Ultra, S21 Ultra, and S22 Ultra are all equipped with a 40-megapixel selfie camera. However, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 12-megapixel front camera, which will also be available on the S23 and S23+. While there is a drop in the megapixel count for the selfie camera, it seems that the S23 series’ front camera may offer a better selfie photography experience.
Reports have claimed that the Galaxy S23 series will be largely similar to the Galaxy S22 lineup in terms of design and specifications. Apart from featuring a new selfie camera, the only major upgrade on the S23 and S23+ could be the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The S23 Ultra is expected to debut as Samsung’s first 200-megapixel camera phone. It is also expected to feature the SD8G2 chip.
