Samsung Galaxy S24 series and the Galaxy S23 FE will feature new Exynos hardware, claims a new report by Pocket-lint. To recall, the Galaxy S22 series debuted last year was made available in Snapdragon and Exynos chipset variants depending on the market.

However, the Exynos Galaxy S22 variants encountered performance issues. Even the previously released Exynos-powered flagship phones from Samsung have delivered subpar performance as compared to their Snapdragon variants. As a result, the Galaxy S23 series variants released across all markets came equipped with an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. As per the new report, the next-generation flagship phones are expected to feature Exynos hardware.

According to the report, the Galaxy S23 FE will debut later this year, which again reiterates that Samsung has no plans to kill the Fan Edition lineup. It further states that the device will be equipped with an Exynos chip but does not mention its exact name. It is unclear whether some markets will receive the Snapdragon edition of the Galaxy S23 FE.

As per reports, the Galaxy S23 Fan Edition will arrive with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display featuring Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The Exynos 2200 processor, along with either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, is likely to power the device.

The Galaxy S2 FE might have a 32-megapixel front camera and a triple camera setup on the back, with a 50-megapixel main sensor that supports OIS. A 4,500mAh battery is expected to provide the necessary power, with support for 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The Galaxy S23 FE is anticipated to run on the One UI 5.1.1-based Android 13 operating system.
