Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE is in the works. As the moniker indicates, it will be succeeding the Galaxy Tab S7 FE, which was announced earlier this year. A Samsung tablet with model number SM-X506B was spotted in the database of the Geekbench benchmarking site in September. In a recent tweet, well-known tipster Roland Quandt claimed that the SM-X506B will be called the Galaxy Tab S8 FE when it arrives on the market.

According to the tipster, the Galaxy Tab S8 FE, which has the “Birdie” codename, will come equipped with an LCD panel. This is not surprising since the Tab S7 FE also features an LCD screen. To recall, the other Tab S8 models are all equipped with AMOLED panels.

The tipster further revealed that the Galaxy Tab S8 FE will come with support for a Wacom digitizer. Hence, the device is expected to support a stylus.

The Geekbench listing of the Tab S8 FE revealed that it will be powered by the Kompanio 900T SoC. The chipset comprises two Cortex-A78 cores that clock at 2.6GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores that work at 2.0GHz. The SoC also includes the Mali-G68 MC4 graphics.

It was also revealed through the Geekbench listing that the Tab S8 FE will arrive with 4GB of RAM and Android 13 OS. The rest of the specifications of the device are yet to be revealed.
