Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 renders and specifications emerge ahead of launch

Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 has appeared in new renders shared by 91mobiles in collaboration with tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer aka OnLeaks. The leaked images give us a first look at the upcoming tablet, while also revealing some key specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 will arrive as the successor to the Galaxy Tab A8 that was launched way back in 2019. It’s worth noting that the South Korean brand is yet to officially confirm the Galaxy Tab A8 2021.

The Galaxy Tab A8 2021 has thick bezels

As per the renders, the display on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 is surrounded by thick bezels. It sports a slightly boxy form factor. The power and volume rocker buttons are located on the right side whereas the left side of the device remains empty. The report adds that the power button could double up as a fingerprint scanner. The back panel houses a protruding circular camera module and a Samsung logo. 

The Galaxy Tab A8 2021 will be equipped with quad speakers with two of loudspeaker grills located at the bottom and the other two at the top. In between the speaker grills, there is also a USB-C port at the bottom and a 3.5mm jack at the top.

According to Onleaks, the Galaxy Tab A8 2021 will come with a 10.4-inch display bearing FHD+ resolution. Dimensions-wise, it will measure 246.7 x 161.8 x 6.9mm (8.7mm including rear camera bump). The tablet will reportedly come with an 8MP rear camera and feature Dolby Atmos support. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 is tipped to launch in Wi-Fi-only and LTE variants.
