Exclusive: Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Wi-Fi variant price will start at €399, more renders revealed

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite on April 2nd. The tablet was recently spotted on Amazon’s Germany website, and while the listing has now been taken down, it mentioned that the LTE variant is priced at €430 (~Rs 35,600). The listing also revealed a few key specifications of the device, alongside additional renders. We have now learnt the pricing of the Wi-Fi only variant of the Tab S6 Lite from the popular tipster, Ishan Agarwal. Our source also shared a few new renders of the upcoming tablet, giving us a look at it from different angles.

The renders reveal the tablet in slate grey and light blue colour variants, and display the front, bottom edge and both sides. We can see that the tablet will feature a USB Type-C port at the bottom, along with a loudspeaker grill. The power button, volume rocker and ejectable tray (either for the SIM or microSD card) are located on the right edge. This time we also get a good look at the S-Pen, which will flaunt a matching paint job as the respective colour variant.

As for the pricing, we can confirm that the Wi-Fi only variant be priced starting at €399 (~Rs 33,000).

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite specifications and features

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite’s Amazon listing as well as previous rumours have revealed most details about the device. The tablet is expected to feature a 10.4-inch LCD display with 2,000 x 1,200 pixels resolution. The LCD panel is a downgrade from the AMOLED one found on the Galaxy Tab S6. The tablet is expected to come with an octa-core Exynos 9611 chipset backed by 4GB RAM. The onboard storage will be 64GB with support for a microSD card, and Samsung might launch a 128GB variant in some regions. In the imaging department, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is expected to feature an 8-megapixel snapper on the rear panel and a 5-megapixel camera on the front for video calling. Lastly, the tablet will boot Android 10 with One UI and feature a massive 7,040mAh battery. Other connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, USB-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack (located on the top edge). Lastly, the tablet will come with AKG-tuned speakers.

With the launch around the corner, we’ll have more details in a couple of days. There’s no word on whether the tablet will be launched in India at this point.
