The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE has quietly launched in Germany. Before its launch, the rumour mill had speculated that it could be arriving in the market with the Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite moniker. The Galaxy Tab S7 FE, where “FE” stands for Fan Edition, is an affordable version of the Galaxy Tab S7 flagship tablet that was announced last year.

The Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G features an LCD panel and is powered by a 5G-ready Snapdragon 7-series chipset. The tablet comes with support for an optional S Pen stylus. The tablet is the successor to last year’s Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE has debuted with the Snapdragon 750G

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE has a 12.4-inch IPS LCD panel that offers 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Placed on the front side of the tablet is a 5-megapixel camera for video calls and its rear shell has an 8-megapixel snapper.

The Snapdragon 750G mobile platform powers the Galaxy Tab S7 FE with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. The Tab S7 FE is backed by a 10,090mAh battery that promises a battery life of around 12 hours with cellular connectivity. The tablet supports 45W fast charging, but the charger is sold is separately. The company claims that it takes around 190 minutes to fully charge the tablet. It is fitted with AKG tuned dual speakers.

The tablet runs One UI 3.1 based on Android 11. It comes with Samsung DeX functionality for a desktop PC experience by connecting an optional keyboard. The tablet also supports an S Pen.

The Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G is now listed on Samsung Germany’s website with pricing of €649 (~Rs 57,800). The tablet comes in two colours such as Mystic Black and Mystic Silver. The company is also expected to sell the tablet in 4G LTE and Wi-Fi only versions.
