Samsung will be hosting its next Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5th. The brand is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Fold 2 and the next-generation flagship Galaxy Tab S series at the event. This time around, Samsung is expected to launch two models of its tablets – the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+.
The spec sheet of the Galaxy Tab S7+ was recently leaked, and we have now obtained several details about the standard Galaxy Tab S7, via tipster Ishan Agarwal. While some of these specs were leaked earlier, we can now confirm the battery capacity, processor, camera resolution and storage, among other details. Agarwal has also shared an official-looking render of the upcoming tablet.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 specifications and features
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 will feature an 11-inch display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. There is a possibility that the tablet might come with an LCD panel, but we can’t confirm this. The display will also offer a high refresh rate, which as per earlier leaks is tipped to be 120Hz.

Coming to the core specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset, and not the Snapdragon 865 Plus as was previously tipped. The RAM details are not confirmed at the moment, but we know it will come with 128GB of storage, at least for one variant. The tablet will feature a microSD card slot, allowing storage expansion up to 1TB.
The dimensions of the tablet are 165.3 x 253.8 x 6.3mm, while it will tip the scales at 498g. Samsung will be offering the tablet in Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze colours.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 will feature a single 13MP camera on the back, and an 8MP camera in the front. We can see in the render above that Samsung is changing the placement of the front camera to the side. As for the battery, the Galaxy Tab S7 will be fuelled by an 8,000mAh cell. It will also come with AKG quad-speakers with Dolby Atmos. We can expect the table to boot the Android 10-based OneUI 2.5.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 will support the S-Pen, and we can expect a rear panel mount for the stylus just like its predecessor. A keyboard cover will also be available, as per a render shared by tipster Evan Blass. Earlier reports have revealed that the tablet will feature a fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button, while the higher-end Galaxy Tab S7+ will get an in-display scanner.
