At Samsung‘s Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event earlier this month, the brand announced its flagship Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ tablets. While there was no word on the Indian availability of flagship tablets at the event, Pricebaba has now learned via tipster Ishan Agarwal that the Galaxy Tab S7 duo will start shipping in India from September 7th.
Additionally, Agarwal confirms that pre-orders of the latest tablets will also open soon in the country. Notably, both devices are listed on Samsung’s India website, and Amazon has already put up a dedicated promotional page for the Galaxy Tab S7, hinting at an imminent launch.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ specifications and features
Both the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ feature 120Hz refresh rate displays. While former features an 11-inch LTPS LCD panel with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution, latter offers 12.4-inch S-AMOLED screen with 1,752 x 2,800 pixels resolution.
The tablets are powered by the Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC accompanied by up to 8GB RAM. They offer up to 256GB storage with support for microSD card. However, both models are already listed on the Samsung India website in a single 128GB configuration and Wi-Fi or LTE variant.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 duo features a dual-camera setup on the back comprising a 13-megapixel primary sensor accompanied by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens. In the front, the flagship tablets have a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling.
Other features of Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ include S Pen stylus with 9ms latency, AKG-tuned quad speakers, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 820.11ax, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB-C 3.2. The standard Tab S7 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, whereas the Plus variant comes with an in-display biometric sensor.
As of now, there’s no word on the Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7 Plus price in India. The US pricing of these two stands at $649.99 (~Rs 48,600) and $849.99 (~Rs 63,500), respectively.
